About Melissa
I am Melissa Boyce, a Realtor, at Vision Real Estate Group. I am a Hampton Roads native. Growing up in Suffolk was wonderful and grounded me with amazing roots. I am married to my best friend, Travis and we have two remarkable, adventurous kids, Melissann and Forrest. Travel and the great outdoors are two of our passions. Having traveled to forty-seven states, my perspective and negotiation skills are a win for my clients and friends. Our kids grew up on the Blue Ridge Parkway, lived in Colorado for a fun year and our family was called back to our roots. Traditions and creating a welcoming home are values we hope to share with others. Old Dominion University served as my home for college. I grew up in real estate with Stephenson Realty being a family business and my step-dad was an appraiser. I am an entrepreneur at heart.
For over 15 years I have been in business for myself. I love social media, sharing in others journey and helping to create a story that leads home. My kids help me with my two blogs, High Country Mom and Tide Country Mom. Giving back is an important part of who we are as a family. I understand, that as a home buyer or seller, you want to buy or sell fast, and I will do just that. It is also important to make the settlement process as clear and smooth as possible. Real Estate can be hard and overwhelming when doing it alone. My job is to get you the best price we can for a property you want to buy or sell, and protect you during the closing process. "Melissa was amazing every step of the way. We contacted her in an attempt to get information on a few properties we were interested in. Right off the bat we told her we weren't sure if we would be purchasing in VA or another state. She immediately got us on the right track, sending listings from her state, as well as listings from other states. She even put us in contact with licensed realtors to show us properties elsewhere. Once we decided we would in fact be buying in VA, she was always available, driving all over the state to find us our perfect property. "Melissa has been amazing! My husband is a navy veteran and we are selling our house from 500 miles away. Melissa has taken care of everything! She contacted the contractors to do work on the house and followed up to make sure it was done. Everyone she recommended was able to quickly complete the work at reasonable prices, despite covid disruptions. Melissa even picked up a microwave from Lowes when we couldn't get it shipped in time.
