About Melissa
I have a diverse background coming from the Garden State, New Jersey. Straight out of college I started my career as a licensed financial advisor, however my entrepreneurial spirit led me to start multiple businesses of my own. I also went back to school to become a certified professional coach as an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. Other accomplishments include becoming an author and developing a speaker platform.
My efforts in New Jersey helping women reach their full professional potential resulted in being nominated in 2017 for a coveted international award by the Chamber of Commerce. The Young Athena award recognizes women who work hard to help other women develop their professional excellence and leadership skills.
After moving to the Lowcountry in South Carolina with my family in the summer of 2018 I had the opportunity to pursue another one of my passions – real estate! And since August of 2019 I have been successfully and seamlessly helping other families make the move to the Lowcountry.
I currently live in Bluffton with my husband Scott and three children Alex, Hayley, and Gwen along with our two fur pups, Peanut and Lyla. On weekends you can usually find me traveling all over the state (and neighboring states) bringing my kids to baseball tournaments and gymnastics meets. When I'm not busy with family or working I enjoy volunteering at my church with the youth group or in guest services!
I am always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my clients feel comfortable and understand everything. I takes pride in providing excellent service by treating people as they would like to be treated.
