About John
With over 35 years of experience in the real estate arena, specializing in land development, architectural design, regulatory oversight, and 12 years of working directly in real estate, my goal for my clients is to prepare them to market their properties or to assist them in identifying an ideal future property. I am committed to providing the highest quality of professionalism possible. As a lifelong Montanan, I pride myself in understanding the state’s history as well as its future potential. Most would say that this is my life passion.
My background in the architectural field is time tested and has proven my dedication to developing an integrated approach to the real estate market. My experiences have taught me that listening to people and hearing what they want is one of the most valuable assets that I have to offer. I was appointed in 2002 to serve in the Montana Legislature, I was then elected to 3 consecutive terms to serve the people of Gallatin valley.
After serving, I began a new endeavor which focused on combining my interests in real estate and public service acting as the Government Affairs Director for the REALTORS of Northwest Montana. The compilation of all of my expertise led me to license as a Realtor. My skill set also allowed me to become involved with the Montana Landlords Association, championing property rights and equity for both tenants and landlords. Being actively involved during the legislative sessions has given me the opportunity to create bills that have benefited my real estate clients on multiple occasions. My involvement has led to awareness, reform and optimistic projections as we head into the future. I am currently serving as the President and Lobbyist for the landlord association.
